The all-new 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross will start at $24,890 when it arrives on the market later this month. It will come in four versions, all powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder powertrain that delivers 169 horsepower, and 151 pound-feet of torque.
This engine will give the Corolla Cross more horsepower than its direct competitors while also promising impressive fuel consumption as low as 7.3 litres per 100 kilometres in front-wheel drive models, and 7.8 litres per 100 kilometres with the available all-wheel drive system. The new 2022 Corolla Cross will also be able to tow up to 1,500 pounds.
Toyota also confirmed that the Corolla Cross will have 608 litres of total cargo space, making it one of the most versatile small SUVs on the market. It will come in four versions including:
Every 2022 Corolla Cross will feature heated front seats, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and LED front and rear lights. Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 that includes Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection, Automatic High Beams, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Other standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, a back-up camera, and ten air bags, and a tire pressure monitoring system with auto location will also be included at no extra charge.
Leather seats, blind spot monitoring, Toyota Connected Services, 18 inch wheels, and dual-zone climate are part of the extensive list of options. All-wheel drive is available at $1,400 in L and LE models, and standard on the LE Premium and XLE models.
